Hello and welcome to my shrine for Eileen the Crow from Bloodborne. :] I honestly have not been selfshipping with Eileen for very long (well, 'I' as in the current system host, the previous host was shipping with her long before me), however she means a whole lot to me in the short time she's been with me. Which is why I made this page, to share my love. It is also pretty empty... Mainly because I don't have a good idea of what goes on pages like this, LOL.
If you want a summary of her story in-game, then you can read below:
Eileen the crow is one of the first NPCs you will meet in Bloodborne. She introduces herself as a Hunter of Hunters, and welcomes you to Yharnam (she also gives you the coolest gesture in the game, the Shake Off Cape gesture). You can find her in the rafters of the sewers after breaking through a few boxes. Her voicelines go as follows:
"Oh, a hunter, are ya? And an outsider? What a mess you've been caught up in, and tonight, of all nights... Here, to welcome the new hunter." (She then gives 4 'Bold Hunter's Mark')
"Prepare yourself for the worst. There are no humans left. They're all flesh-hungry beasts now."
"Still lingering about? What's wrong? A hunter, unnerved by a few beasts? Heh heh, no matter. Without fear in our hearts, we're little different from the beasts themselves." (She then gives the 'Shake off cape' gesture)
"What are you still doing here? Enough trembling in your boots. A hunter must hunt."
Even if you don't talk with her in the sewers, you still have a chance to start her quest by going back to the sewers BEFORE fighting Vicar Amelia. After you do that, you can find her in the Cathedral Ward, she will tell you about one of the hunters she's hunting, Henryk, and warns you not to engage. Here are her lines of dialogue:
"Oh, hello there. Perfect timing. I must warn you... Not to go near the tomb below Oedon Chapel in the Cathedral Ward. Henryk, an old hunter, has gone mad. And he's my mark..." (She then gives the 'Shh!' gesture)
"Don't go near the tomb below Oedon Chapel in the Cathedral Ward. I have business there first..." (giggles)
This is what she says after you help her kill Henryk, because you obviously don't listen to your elders:
(Breathing heavily) "That wasn't necessary of ya, but you have my thanks. We made it, with our lives... You're not bad at all."
"You must've killed Gascoinge as well then? He was falling apart, I'm sure it had to be done. But try to keep your hands clean. A hunter should hunt beasts, leave the hunting of hunters to me." (laughs) (she then runs away)
If you've successfully done all these steps, then after you defeat Rom, you will find her on the steps of the Grand Cathedral, bleeding. She tells you:
"Oh, is it you again?"
"I'm afraid I've made a bit of a blunder. Oh, don't worry, I've taken enough blood, enough to save an old woman."
"No more dreams for me, this is my last chance."
"What a fool I am, I'll have to tread carefully. But that thing still lies in wait. Turn back. This is my score to settle." (She then gives the 'Wait' gesture)
"My prey lies in wait this way. Turn back. This is my score to settle."
If you defeat the hardest not-boss in the game, she has this to say:
"Don't you ever listen to your elders? No matter, you did save my life."
"I don't seem to be apt for this life anymore. My glory days were long ago now... Hmmm, I know... Here, for you." (She gives the Crow Hunter badge and Hunter rune)
"This too is hunter's work, but it bears no honor. A burden you may choose to carry. The desicion is yours alone."
"Ahh, my eyes grow heavy... Let me rest a while... I'll be fine, just wait."
If you reload the area, she will then despawn. It is unknown if she dies, or actually survives. I'm willing to bet that she survives, but that's probably my bias talking.
If you, however, don't complete her quest, or fail to initiate her quest, she will become hostile when you get to the Grand Cathedral. Her voicelines go like this:
(Laughs) "Few hunters can resist the intoxication of the hunt. Look at you, just the same as all the rest..."
"The hunters must die... The nightmare must end... Only I can stop this madness!" (more laughter)
"The beasts cannot be stopped! What good are hunters now?!"
(Other things she says during the battle) "Your blood is mine! A hunter's blood for me! Your punishment is death! Death to hunters!"
"Enough of this terrible dream!"
(After she is killed) "Ah... You monsters... All hunters must die!"
In this version of events, Eileen goes mad, presumably after killing the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst, and attacks the player character. A pretty sad thing to think about, but luckily, I can just go by her quest line, and pretend she never died at all.
However, if you don't feel like reading through all that, you can just listen to all her dialogue, which gives an okay summary of her story (at least in-game):
(One day I'll finish this video in its entirety...)
She does star in her own comic series called 'A Song of Crows'! But honestly... It doesn't say a lot about her as a character, nor does it explain anything about her. It does, however, show lots of pretty pictures of her.
The reason why there are so many roses on this page is because I relate roses to her. Plus red roses fit well with the aesthetic of this page, and they are commonly associated with love!
This is a gallery for all the pictures I really love of Eileen! All these come from offical/cannon sources!
This is a place for me to write letters to Eileen about how much I love her. Beware, this might get really sappy or lovey-dovey.
Hello Eileen. I hope your days have been well so far. I've been very productive this last week, so I have been feeling really happy. Sometimes, when I'm feeling lonely, I think of you, and I feel much better. I think of your voice, your face, all the little things you do, and I get all giddy and happy.
I hope you know how much I love you, that I would do anything for you, walk to the ends of the earth for you. Everytime I see roses, I think of you, and when I smell flowers and herbs I am reminded of you.
I have a few gifts I want to give you when I see you again. I don't want to spoil them quite yet, but I hope you'll enjoy them when you do get them.
Hello Eileen. This week has been really tough for me, but I made it through it! I'm really hoping to get more done next week, since that'll be when my break starts. That reminds me, this weekend I'm planning on going to a Mardi Gras parade! I'm really excited for it, the only thing I'm worried about is that it might be cancelled due to snow... I wish I could take you with, but I'll take lots of pictures to show you, I promise!
Hello Eileen. I have the rest of this week off! I'm really happy, I have a ton of things I'm hoping to do, though I probably won't get to most of them... I hope you have been feeling good, too! And that Bessie, Carrie, and Minnie have been doing good. Also, I would really like to go out and take a walk or something similar soon... We haven't done that in a while.
Demi-girl, mainly she/her but sometimes they/them.
Demi-sexual, bisexual with a preference for feminine-aligned folks.
She's autistic, she has a special interest in writing. She hopes that she can be an author one day.
Other special interests she has: gardening, cooking.
After the events of the game, she survives, escapes Yharnam, and now lives in the countryside mostly alone (except for me, of course). She owns a few chickens, who she loves very dearly (she also spoils them. A lot). Here are their names: Bessie (black chicken), Carrie (white chicken), Minnie (brown chicken). She's not much of a baker, and enjoys cooking way more. However, I am more of a baker, so we help each other in that regard!
Eileen still wears her mask outside of Yharnam, because she has a sensitivity to smell. She still stuffs herbs and flowers into the mask, and she will until the end of time.
As mentioned before, she hopes to one day become an author. She currently writes small snippets of fantasy and fictional stories, but she's working on a HUGE story that she eventually hopes to actually publish. (I don't think I'll actually write what it's about any time soon, just because I fear I may become as obsessed with it as I am with her...)
(A bit more sad/angsty content warning) Because of her past as a hunter of hunters, she has a hard time connecting with other people. She is constantly paranoid that they may turn into a beast, and that she'll be the one who has to kill them. Since she is outside of Yharnam now, there isn't a chance that'll happen again (unless someone repeats the exact same events outside of Yharnam), but, you know, trauma is weird and usually not 'reasonable'. She has to be reminded sometimes that it won't happen again.
